‘The Boy from Oz’ was the 2023 major production at the Empire Theatre in Queensland. The show ran for six performances over two weeks from 17 – 26 March, and was attended by over 6,000 people.

I was the art director and designer for this show, responsible for crafting the visual identity and developing all visual assets. Notably, I was the sole designer for the most significant design undertaking for this production – the creation of the show’s official Souvenir Program. This 48-page booklet offers a comprehensive insight into the production, featuring high-quality show photographs, director’s notes, a song list, a story synopsis, biographies for the entire cast and crew, and behind-the-scenes images.

The program was available for purchase during each performance and a copy was given to all cast members and sponsors on opening night.

I was the sole designer for the most significant design undertaking for this production – the creation of the show’s Souvenir Program.
