Youi ‘Virtual Kick’ event activation deployed at Brisbane Lions home games throughout the 2022 AFL season.

Youi became major sponsors of the Brisbane Lions prior to the 2022 AFL season. In line with Youi’s branding initiatives as major sponsors, the Brand & Creative team at Youi created an event activation called ‘Virtual Kick’. In this interactive experience, players were given three attempts to score a virtual goal amidst challenging weather conditions, which progressively worsened after each kick. Successful participants were entered into a draw for a chance to win Brisbane Lions merchandise autographed by the players.

As the graphic designer on this project, I designed the marquee, trophy cabinet, toblerone sign, trophy stand, and media wall.

The Virtual Kick activation was prominently showcased at all Lions’ home games throughout the entirety of the 2022 AFL season, consistently attracting enthusiastic crowds.
